Who was this Jesus, called the Christ?
Without Jesus, there would be no religion called Christianity. If he was not who he said he was, all of Christianity is a sham…it's fake…and it is not to be believed. If he never really existed, never died on a cross, never rose from the dead or was only a "good teacher", then what is the point?

What do YOU believe about Jesus?

Liar -
Jesus claimed that he was the son of God, and that he could forgive sin (Matt. 9:2). He also claimed that he was the ultimate fulfillment of all the Jewish law and the prophets (Matt. 5:17). Would you believe someone who claimed all that?

Lunatic -
Jesus also claimed that he was both God and human, using the term "Son of Man" both to recognize this, and as a fulfillment of prophecy. Also, because of the supposed lies he told, the Jewish religious leaders hated him passionately and finally delivered him to the Romans to be crucified. Now, if he had only been lying, wouldn't he recant when faced with a horrible death? But he didn't. Wasn't he crazy?

Lord -
So what if it is all true? Jesus performed amazing miracles such as healing a man who had been born blind (John 9:1-7), raising people from the dead (Luke 11:1-27), and helping one of his disciples walk on water (Matt. 14:29). His miracles were witnessed by many who then continued to follow him! Jesus never coerced anyone to follow him (Matt. 4:18-22, Matt. 9:9), yet he had a huge following during his three years of teaching, which is what scared the religious leaders more than anything. Perhaps the words of Peter, one of Jesus' closest disciples, say it best: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matt. 16:16)

So what do YOU believe?
If Jesus was all he said he was, all his disciples saw and believed he was, then he is the Son of God who came to earth to pay the price for YOUR sins. All you have to do is accept his free gift of love to you, and commit to follow Him the rest of your life…to take the journey.
